Theatre-Based Techniques in Peer Education for Roma Communities Training of Trainers and Theater Institutions 2013

On the 28th of September 2013 PETRI –Sofia in the frame of National Centre of Public Health and Analyses (NCPHA), in partnership with UNFPA EECARO and UNFPA COs started to host the Theatre-Based Techniques in Peer Education for Roma communities Training of Trainers and Theater Institutions.

The training took place until the 3rd of October 2013. PETRI Sofia is happy to announce that training had 20 participants from the following Eastern European countries: Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Romania.

Theatre-Based Techniques in Peer Education for Roma communities Training of Trainers and Theater Institutions aims to use theatre methodology to promote improvement of the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of Roma adolescents and youth and raise awareness about the root causes of Roma poor education and health outcomes, by using the theatre based peer education approach at the community level.
