Youth Coordinator of PETRI – Sofia, Chief Expert at NCPHA
Yuliya Andzhekarska has been a Youth Coordinator of PETRI – Sofia since 2015. She graduated in International Relations at Sofia University in 2013.
She has almost 10 years of experience as a volunteer and later as a professional in non-governmental organizations engaged in education and youth work. Yuliya has experience in organizing international youth exchanges and trainings under the Erasmus+ program of the European Commission, as well as in participating in such projects in more than 20 countries. She was an EVS volunteer in Mexico and worked in the non-governmental sector there in 2014. She was coordinator and trainer in various international youth trainings on topics such as conflict prevention and resolution, active citizenship, youth unemployment, project development and management, etc.
Yuliya coordinates the International Internship Program of PETRI – Sofia, participates in the organization of events and trainings, in the maintenance and updating of the information on the Youth Advocacy Platform SpeakActChange, works on the projects of the Institute that are implemented in partnership with different institutions and international organizations (MFA, UNFPA, YouAct, YSAFE and others).
